Hey, I'm Andrew! Growing up in rural West Virginia, I took my first yoga class when I was 13 with my mother at home when we practiced to a Rodney Yee DVD. It wasn't until 2016 when I began my regular practice and discovered its life healing abilities. I live with anxiety and I have found that Yoga helps lower my anxiety to a manageable level. I recently received my 200 hr YTT from Tavoos Garden in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
My favorite yoga style is traditional Hatha Yoga where we hold the poses and rest between them to reap the full benefits of the practice. My main goal as a yoga teacher is to take students beyond the pose by taking them deeper into their practice through a focus on Pranayama (Breathwork), Asanas (Poses) and Meditation.
I am thrilled to be an ambassador for Sweat Net Pittsburgh and I look forward to meeting all of my fellow Health and wellness fanatics at many of our monthly events!
