Mecka M/Flex coaches have to opportunity to teach the perfect balance of zen and sweat in this class combination of yoga and H.I.I.T. For M/Flex we want coaches who have a great grasp on coaching dumbbell weightlifting movements such as squats, deadlifts, cleans, and snatches, as well as body weight gymnastics like push ups and pull ups. A background with yoga is also preferred, but better yet is an understanding of how to properly, effectively, and safely warm up and cool down athletes. You’ll have a chance to place your own personality on each workout with your own yoga warm up and cool down, and your preferred playlist during the H.I.I.T. section of class. Motivate, educate, and lead!

What is M/Flex?
Worried about familiarity with M/Flex? No problem. We’ll take care of training you on everything you need to know to run a successful class. M/Flex consists of 2, 10 minute yoga sessions - one at the beginning of class to warm athletes up, and one at the end to cool them down. The middle part of class is made of 20 minutes of a pre-programmed H.I.I.T. style workout. In this middle section, athletes will use anything from their own bodyweight, to dumbbells, kettlebells, slam balls, pull up bars, and a number of other pieces of equipment. Students can expect to get conditioned, stronger, and more flexible all in one class.
