Our mission is to…

Celebrate, motivate, and unite the community through health and fitness. Inspired by Pittsburgh’s dynamic fitness scene, the Strip District Sweat Crawl aims to highlight local studios, gyms, and fitness entrepreneurs in the area.

The SD Sweat Crawl was created to support local small businesses who navigated an incredibly difficult year during the pandemic… we want to give the community access to these businesses for a taste of everything they have to offer. Let’s face it, we’ve all had an extremely tough year–so let’s gather safely and celebrate life in the healthiest of ways!

Most frequent questions and answers

We are following proper precautions to keep everyone safe and all studios/gyms + participating locations are abiding by the CDC guidelines.

Safety guidelines include, but not limited to:

  • Masks worn throughout the duration of the event
  • All props/shared equipment will be properly sanitized in between each rotation
  • Hand sanitizer availability
  • Social distancing within classes
  • STEP 1: Purchase your crawl pass for $19.95 (SweatNET Members save $10)
  • STEP 2: All locations have limited capacity, so you must pre-register.
  • STEP 3: Check in at 12PM on the day of the event. Have your digital ticket ready as your proof of registration.
  • STEP 4: You will be assigned to a “Sweat Group” where you will be given your crawl itinerary. You will follow your itinerary through eight 10-minute Sweat Stations throughout the Strip District.
  • STEP 5: Once you have completed all 8 stations in the crawl, bring your completed pass back to the check-in area to receive your drink ticket and enjoy the wellness fair! 
  • Participation in the Sweat Crawl with eight, 10-min Sweat Stations throughout the Strip District. 
  • SweatNET swag bag you can use to carry your gear while you travel from station to station.
  • Post-crawl beverage from participating Strip District establishments. 

Check-in and the pre-crawl warm up will take place at the SD Terminal building at Smallman St and 18th St. 

Everything from HIIT, strength, cycling, yoga & more! Great for all fitness levels!

How you choose to travel to and from each station is up to you. Due to local parking limitations we suggest you go by foot (walking or jogging). You will be alloted 10 minute rotation time. Some stations are closer than others and may require a faster pace. 

Approximately 2 hours. You will complete eight, 10-min stations plus travel time from station to station. 

Bring your own water bottle, sweat towel, healthy snacks, and your charged phone so you can capture moments before and after the event! Please keep belongings to a minimum. 

Paid street and lot parking is available throughout the Strip District. Be sure to arrive early to allow yourself enough time to find a place to park. We recommend carpooling with friends if possible. 

If you are unable to make it, we ask that you cancel at least 24 hours in advance. You can cancel directly on the event listing and we’ll be notified.

YES. You will not be able to get in without proof of purchase. You can show your digital ticket on your phone to avoid printing a physical version.
