Soooo the last few months have been a little… unique, unexpected, weird?? It seems like I was just getting into a consistent fitness routine and then all of a sudden, my biggest external motivator was shut down. The best thing about Title is that it is such a high energy, motivating place. From the coaches to the members, everyone is happy and ready to make their work out the best one of their life. It’s quite the challenge to go from that environment to working out from home in the middle of your living room in what seems like overnight. When you’re solely relying on yourself to muster up the motivation to work out, it’s tough. Especially when you have no members around you to hold you accountable for completing ALL of the reps.
Truthfully though, that sudden switch made me realize how much I truly valued Title and allowed me to see how much progress I had actually made since starting my membership at the beginning of the year. If my exercise routine was impacted in the same way last year, it would have been no problem. Mostly because I never exercised so it would not have affected me in anyway whatsoever. But having Title be part of my regular routine made me realize that exercise is SO important and makes you feel SO good afterwards. Which is exactly what we need in crazy, unpredictable times like this. Without realizing this, the chances of me continue to exercise during quarantine would have been minimal to none.
Having the ability to participate in Title classes allowed me to have not only a plethora of resources to aid in my workouts (thank you Title online and outdoor workouts) but it also taught me exercises to incorporate into my own routines. I was able to create a routine that was engaging and didn’t bore me after one circuit. While this season taught me that I actually am able to internally motivate myself, I am extremely excited to get back to the high energy, motivating environment that Title offers to each member. I can’t believe I’m actually typing this, but I’m even looking forward to finishing out some of the Title classes with a plank??
