Hello all! I was fortunate enough to win a free membership this year to flex city fitness and I couldn’t be more elated! I am such a class workout kind of person, having an instructor and other peers to push me is so nice because let’s be honest its hard pushing yourself sometimes! ACCOUNTIBILITY that’s what this gym brings, with the variety of classes, which include treadmill work, floor work and spin bikes you are sure to get an awesome workout in! If this sounds intimidating I must stress that the FLEXcity family will keep making you want to come back, they are all so welcoming and encouraging!
As I mentioned the workout includes treadmills! I don’t know about you but I am not a treadmill girl, I love to run outside but running on a treadmill just is difficult for me. However, you should believe it when I say that Flexcity makes the treadmill element of their workouts fun, challenging and definitely not boring. They coach you through the entire workout, treadmills, bikes and floor. With such a variety of workouts on the floor and with cardio you never get bored and are pushed into accomplishments you never thought you could reach! Just one month into working out at FLEXcity I already feel so much stronger and can run further and faster!
As I said before everyone is so encouraging that you WILL want to come back! Starting out at a new gym can be intimidating, I was worried I wouldn’t be strong enough! However, I learned quickly how strong I really am and how much I can really push myself. There were many different aspects of workouts I had to modify, the instructors were amazing at coaching me through difficult moves and showing modifications when needed! Overall, my goal when I started at FLEXcity was to improve my health and strength, I have already seen so many so many improvements! I can’t stress how much I am enjoying my fitness journey with FLEXcity!
