200 Hour RYT Yoga Instructor
An Indiana native, Hope moved to Greenville for work and after more than 10 years in the area, was invited to a yoga class by a friend in 2010. Without a fitness background she had no idea what to expect from the Hot Power Yoga, but was instantly hooked after her first class. Yoga pushed her out of her comfort zone, reduced the stresses of a full time career, having a small child and eliminated some minor health issues along the way. She received her Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher 200 Hour certification from Zanti Power Yoga in 2013 and has taken Master Classes with Doug Swenson, Bryan Kest, Kino MacGregor and Taylor Harkness. Always educating herself on the body’s capabilities and restorative power from many years as a Physical Therapy patient, Hope uses her mat time to reset, grow, transform, have fun and push her practice. Her vibrant personality, smile and laugh come across in her teaching, as she enjoys making creative and challenging flows set to a musical beat that will allow you to leave refreshed and ready to test your yoga practice on and off the mat.
Yoga opened the door for other fitness activities, where she invites others to join her along this journey! Aside from yoga, Hope has two children, does Interval Training at MADabolic Greenville, serves as an Ambassador for their unique program and speaks to groups about health & wellness for the modern woman, even coaching others when the opportunity arises. Her mantra, #takewhatyouneedleavetherest permeates her life and she encourages others to do the same.
