Instructor Insight: Dani Mogg
What classes do you teach & where?
– I teach high-intensity indoor cycling classes
How did you get into the fitness industry?
I started cycling at Cyclebar South Tampa and realized how much I enjoy doing it. I have an extensive dance and music background, so transitioning to the bike was easy for me. When the Trinity location was in the works, I was sought out to audition.
What’s your favorite thing about being an instructor?
For me, it’s all about the music. I love being able to create an entire atmosphere controlled by the music. I strive to make my classes 50/50: half the ride is filled with music my riders will recognize and enjoy, and the other half will include tracks that are new to them or they would never expect to workout to.
Where can we find you when you’re not teaching a class?
In a non-COVID world, one of the Disney parks :)
What’s your one piece of advice for someone who wants to live a healthier life?
Fitness is not just for the physical body. It’s an emotional and mental investment. Give it time.
What is your guilty pleasure food and/or drink?
Who is your celebrity crush?
It was, still is, and always will be, Paul Walker.
