Rocky Mountain Strength is a gym that offers it all. HIIT classes, strength, total body and mountainFIT class…you’ll be well rounded from this southern Denver gym.
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts generally combine short bursts of intense exercise with periods of rest or lower-intensity exercise. These workouts often mix aerobic and resistance training.
The basic principles of Strength Training involve a manipulation of the number of repetitions, sets, tempo, exercises and force to cause desired changes in strength, endurance or size by overloading of a group of muscles. The specific combinations of reps, sets, exercises, resistance and force depend on the purpose of the workout that day. Most strength workouts will incorporate Olympic-style weightlifting.
Total Body Conditioning (TBC) generally include a fairly intense mix of aerobic, strength training and speed elements within each class session. A TBC workout is essentially a type of interval training — bursts of intense activity alternated with intervals of lighter activity.
