I started my fitness journey 10 years ago when I became a Group Fitness Instructor for Penn State University. Over the last decade I have acquired a number of certifications such as a Primary Group Fitness Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer, TRX, Barre Above, Balletone, Extreme HIIT Chaos, YogaFit, Mat Pilates, Schwinn Cycling, Triggerpoint, Zumba, Les Mills BodyPump and many more. I currently oversee the fitness programs at UNC Charlotte and have held this role for about 5 years. I am also a Program Specialist for Barre Above, Balletone, and Extreme HIIT Chaos where I go around the country to train instructors or future instructors in those formats. Fitness is not only what I do for a living but also what I do for my life and I’m hoping to expand to my own fitness programming in the next few years. When I’m not doing fitness, I love watching and playing sports, being active, trying new things, traveling, and reading.
