What you don’t know about Chakti Yoga might end up being the most fun part of the experience

You won’t really know what people mean when they describe Chakti Yoga until you actually try Chakti Yoga. Take it from first-time Chakti-goer and SweatNET Ambassador, Ashtyn Ramsey, who didn’t know exactly what it was she was signing up for, but came for the experience and walked away with one of her topmost fun workout experiences!

I had signed up for the last blacklight Chakti yoga class thinking how fun would yoga be in a glow-in-the-dark environment LOL. The day before I went I tried to round up some friends from F45 Southend, the gym I coach at and had no luck, so I decided to go by myself. Walking in with a few random girls I had asked if this was their first and they said no they’re regulars with Lauren’s classes. I asked what to expect and their words exactly, “Yoga + twerking + rave.” The class definitely lived up to that. We danced, we sang, we flowed, and we SWEAT…A LOT. The atmosphere in Lauren’s Chakti Yoga class was one of the most fun class atmospheres I’ve ever experienced. So bring a mat/sweat towel/water and wear your favorite neon workout clothes. You don’t want to miss round two of Chakti Yoga with SweatNET at our April 21st event at Lenny Boy Brewing. 💜
