I became interested in Physical Therapy when I was an injured runner in middle school and went through the rehab process. Since then, physical therapy has helped me learn so much about my body, its capabilities, and how to keep moving and stay healthy. My favorite thing about PT is how it allows me to spend so much time with my patients, develop long-lasting relationships, and give them the knowledge and tools to continue living healthy lifestyles despite injury. I have a great deal of experience working with functional fitness athletes, runners, yoga enthusiasts, and sweaters of all kinds!
Outside of PT, I recently moved to Charlotte, so I am very new to the area, but so far absolutely love the endless amount of outdoor activities and how active the Charlotte community is! You can find me sweating at a local CrossFit gym or SweatNET event, hiking in the mountains, or trying out a new local coffee shop!

Jenna Spenlau
Dr. Jenna is new to the Charlotte area and ready to start exploring! She is a Kentucky native and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University and her Bachelor of Science in Human Health Sciences at the University of Kentucky with minors in Psychology and Biology.
Jenna is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and CrossFit Level 1 Trainer at CrossFit Dilworth. She continually strives to learn more and use this knowledge to teach and empower her clients at Onward Charlotte, where the focus is on finding the long term fix to eliminate pain and maximize performance for active individuals. Her treatment approach includes using skilled, hands-on techniques and functional exercise to help her patients achieve their individualized goals and live healthy lifestyles.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Jenna exploring the outdoors, at the local Crossfit gym, or snuggling her kitties and golden retriever.
