I’m Melissa – born, raised, and residing in Northern New Jersey, USA. I’ve been a ZIN™ Member since Sep 2019 and I absolutely love teaching Zumba classes. I have been partaking in this fitness concept since 2009 and have been obsessed with it ever since. It combines 2 of my favorite things: dancing and Latino music. I’m a Latina female who grew up as a competitive dancer – from tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, and Salsa. When I discovered Zumba, I knew becoming a Zumba instructor was a part of my future. After years of doing Zumba, being pulled to the front of the class, and leading major parts of Zumba classes, I finally put myself into an instructor training! I am currently licensed to teach Zumba and have my CPR-BLS license. I can’t wait to see what my career as a Zumba instructor has in store for me. This is only the beginning!
