CorePower Yoga is one of the newest yoga sensations to come to Charlotte and they offer a little bit of everything. From Hot Power Fusion (heated power flow) to Yoga 1 (unheated flow) to Yoga Sculpt (add weights!) you’ll find something to challenge your muscles and your mind no matter where you are in your fitness journey! We dropped into their Yoga Sculpt class just a few weeks ago and discovered a new angle to yoga that I’ve never experienced before.
CorePower Yoga Sculpt is one class specifically unique to CorePower Yoga. A signature class that includes the mindfulness of yoga mixed with the physical intensity of weights and athletic movements, Yoga Sculpt brings the best of two worlds together in an empowering and sweaty hour-long class. A class that is modifiable to any level, this class will challenge you (think all the pulses) to exhaustion. Yoga Sculpt utilizes light weights with small high rep movements on top of the yoga flow. In addition CorePower Yoga adds in a cardio component that is the cherry on top. If your heart rate wasn’t already up with the weights, it will be after you round out the cardio portion of class. This total body workout is a great way to get in your cardio and build strength simultaneously, and in the time crunch of our daily lives, this type of class is always a win-win for me.
The studio is a brand new facility and boasts all the amenities you could look for. Showers, lockers, water, to an amazing retail selection to browse before and after class, CorePower Yoga pulls out all the stops. Ask and you shall receive, here at CorePower Yoga I have yet to go and not be able to find exceptional customer service, a sparkling clean space and a great community. Everyone from the staff to the clients are welcoming and friendly and whether it’s your first time or your 100th it’s a place to share your practice and develop your mind and body.
