Brown Rice Pasta Spaghetti

Ingredients


  • 1lbs ground beef

  • 1/2lbs ground sausage

  • 24oz pasta sauce

  • 3 cups brown rice pasta noodles

  • 1 onion (diced)

  • 1/2 tsp basil

  • 1/2 tsp oregano

  • 1/2 tsp thyme

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 1-2 cloves garlic (minced)

Cooking Instructions


  1. Drizzle large skillet with avocado oil.

  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic and cook on medium heat for 3-5 minutes.

  3. Add ground beef and sausage and cook until meat is brown all the way through.

  4. Add sauce and spices and leave on low heat while pasta cooks, stirring occasionally.

  5. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. (add salt if desired)

  6. Add 3 cups brown rice pasta noodles and cook on medium for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  7. Remove pasta from heat and drain.

  8. In a large bowl, combine sauce and pasta noodles.

  9. Enjoy!
