Hello! My name is Coco and I was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin! Having been surrounded by the Great Lakes and the bay, I have been swimming since I was five years old and was a lifeguard and swim instructor since I was sixteen. After earning my undergraduate degree, I packed my car and drove to Denver, and I’ve been a resident now for a little over six years.
When I first moved to the Mile High City, I had absolutely no self-confidence, felt lonely, and overall depressed. However, I knew that the move cross country would bring nothing but good things! I wanted to take advantage of what Colorado had to offer from snowboarding, hiking (we’ve peaked five 14ers so far), camping, attending new fitness classes and studios, and taking advantage of the great outdoors. Currently, I am a lead swim instructor at Little Kickers Swim School, where I’ve been working for five years! I had no idea I would turn aquatics into a career! Looking back, moving to Denver has been the best decision of my life! Oh, and if you’re wondering, yes, I’m still a Packers fan 😉
