Studio of the Week: Yoga on Davidson

We visited Yoga on Davidson a few weeks ago to try out a Power class with Annie Bolton, the owner of Yoga on Davidson. Yoga on Davidson is located off of S. Main St in Davidson, NC. Located next to several other businesses, there was no issue with trying to find somewhere to park.

The space is incredibly inviting — you can sit and read a book, grab a coffee or kombucha, or just hang out before and after your classes. They offer both heated and non-heated classes including Deep Stretch, Vinyasa, Power and Prenatal Yoga with no more than 20 people per class. They also offer a kids yoga camps, private lessons and teacher trainings and workshops. There is truly something for everyone at Yoga on Davidson!

We took was their Power class, which is a baptiste-style class. Baptiste is a type of hot power yoga that focuses on building heat within your body through a series of poses. The Power class is their hottest and fastest class, with the room heated to 100 degrees. Don’t let that scare you though! They welcome you to take what you need and go at your own pace — you can take out the chaturanga push-ups or take a minute to sit in child’s pose.

If you’re in the north Charlotte area, definitely check out Yoga on Davidson. They will make you feel nothing but welcome! With all of their class offerings, you will find something for you!
